For We Share In His Death To Sin And His Life With God

⁵ For if we have become united-with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall be also in the likeness of His resurrection, ⁶ knowing this: that our old person was crucified-with Him in order that the body of sin might be done-away-with^[a], so that we no longer^[b] are-slaves^[c] to sin. ⁷ For the one having died has been declared-righteous from sin.
